Recently, our company announced some promotions. Promotion means to be given a higher position such as from general manager to manager something like that. This announcement makes the one who get a promotion happy and discourage others. We congratulated them and consoled as well respectively. And by tradition, we held the company dinner to celebrate my co-workers who had been promoted. I gave my junior colleague three thims including this year to console and drink together because he didn't get any promotions.
The promotion is related to many things like salary, rights and power so on. Therefore, it seems many people wants to be promoted.
In my case, I will also have my chance to get promoted.
I want to get a promotion next year.
To be like that, It seems I must study English very hard.^^
