I think a working experience ("experience" in this sense is an uncountable noun) is the most important factor when making a hire decision. Here are some reasons to support the idea.
First of all, employees who have various ("various" cannot be used to modify an uncountable noun like "experience," so you might use a phrase like "various kinds of working experience" instead) working experience are more likely to get used to new tasks easily being good at their jobs.
Secondly, they usually have novel solutions when there are issues to deal with so they can lead the company to succeed. I have a co-worker who has lots of experiences and he is able to do almost everything.
For those I think a working experience is the most important factor when making a hire decision.
