제목 Wear vs. Put on 등록일 2016-01-17
내용 Thank you as always.

I would like to check whether I could distinguish "Wear" and "Put on".

I wrote a sentence using them as followings:

I'm wearing a suit right now because I'm going to attend the wedding ceremony of my best friend.
It took me a long time to put on a necktie because I don't usually put on it.

If you could check the sentence above, it would be highly appreciated.

Edit: I'm wearing a suit right now, because I'm going to attend my best friend's wedding ceremony. It took me a long time to put on a necktie, because I don't usually wear one.

Very good job, Cho. I just made some small changes.

The main difference between "wear" and "put on" is that "put on" is the act of dressing, before wearing, and "wear" comes after. "I put on shoes. Now, I am wearing shoes."

I hope this helps. See you in class :)
