I reported the result of technical due diligence regarding the nickel mine in Indonesia to the vice president, Mr. Yoo. I prepared for the report during most of two weeks, so I was a bit confident for explaining the result of the due diligence to him. His response was not bad. But he pointed out various things that I didn’t expect while preparing for the report. Actually, whenever my boss was corrected by the vice president when my boss reported to him, I couldn’t understand why he didn’t prepare well and didn’t expect to make up for those important points the vice president mentioned in advance. As a result, I began to look down on my boss. However, as I got similar responses from the vice president while I reported to him, I realized that seeing and doing something are totally different. So it would be better for me not to judge something in advance unless I have done it or have experience about it.
