As long as I remember, the police in my country were familiar with us. Because they are located near us, they often say they're within 3minutes away. They usually wear a blue shirt and white hat in, it looks confident. Their main role is to secure the safety of the community. So it's common to see them that they are patrolling around the community with their patrol car. In the past it was usual that policeman were in the center of intersections to guide the cars crossing road for making a sign to the cars. But it is not usual these days because the registered taxi driver called Best Drivers are currently substituting for the traffic police officers. Sometimes, I can see a police officer who is on an auto bicycle to escort an important person such as the president or an ambassador.
