Geology was the class I didn’t like at the most. There are two main reasons. why I think so. First, reading a textbook enables students to be bored and lose their interest. If I were a geology teacher, I would explain why suburb (not sure what is meant by suburb-usually a suburb is a part of a city)area is developed and where important theories come from with examples to make the students understanding about of geology easier.  Reading a textbook can be done by students. us. It means teachers have a greater more roles beyond than just reading a textbook. Second, memorizing everything allows students to hate the subject and forget everything they memorized once the exam is finished. If I taught geology, I would point out what is important and what students should know in each part of the subject. A textbook shows all the amount of contents it has. Summarizing the contents and delivering what is crucial among them to students is one of the important roles of teachers. So teachers should explain backgrounds and examples of the contents in textbooks as well as point out what is important in the class.
